Acknowledging risks has the following benefits: Helps the dashboard show only risks that there is no plan for. Prevents duplicate review of the same risk by different administrators. Gives visibility to the plan that is in place for the risk. The acknowledgement workflow reduces the chance of missing a critical new risk.
