When replacing the IOM module in a shelf with a different model it requires the following components to be powered off during the change: ALL nodes that connect to the impacted shelves. ALL ATTO bridges (if applicable) that connect to the impacted shelves. The shelves of which the IOM model will be changed. IOM3 to IOM6 IOM3 to IOM12* IOM6 to IOM12* *Be aware of SAS port differences between IOM3/IOM6 (QSFP) and IOM12 (MiniSAS-HD)
