SMO supports exactly one SnapVault or SnapMirror relationship

  • SnapManager for Oracle (SMO) 3.4.2 on UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX)
  • SnapManager for SAP (SMSAP) 3.4.2 on UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX)
  • ONTAP 8.3 to 9.2 (Primary and Secondary)


When using a snapmirror protection policy or type mirror-vault (like MirrorAndVault, or self-made policy), SMO 3.4.2 releases fail with the following error:

--[ WARN] SMO-05519: Multiple or no relationship found for volume NUKMAFF200-PR-svm1:/vol/<VOLUME>. SMO supports exactly one snapVault or snapMirror relationship.
