SMO/SMSAP profile deletion fails with an SD-10014: unexpected snapdrive error

Issue

When issuing an smo profile delete or smsap profile delete, the following error messages appear:

[ERROR] SMSAP-13032: Cannot perform operation: Profile Delete.
Root cause: Error creating bean with name 'scopedTarget.datasetClientV11' defined in class path resource

  SD-10014: Unexpected snapdrive error: /bin/sh: /usr/sbin/snapdrive: No such file or directory
[ERROR] SMSAP-13048: Profile Delete Operation Status: FAILED
