Answer
OnCommand Workflow Automation (WFA) will send an email alert to a user on several conditions:
- Workflow planning started/failed/completed
- Workflow execution started
- Workflow execution failed/partially successful
- Workflow execution completed successfully
- Workflow execution waiting for approval
- Acquisition failure
These conditions are based on which user has submitted the workflow. If the workflow is submitted by UserA, then only UserA will receive the notification. UserB will not receive any notification on UserA's workflows.
If there is a need for multiple users to be notified on a workflow status, then a group email address will need to be configured for the primary user account that submits the workflows.
The exception to this is notifications for Acquisition failure. Since this is an application process and not something that is submitted by a user, any user with this option checked will be notified if there is an acquisition failure.
