WFA : Can't peer UM 9.7x to WFA 5.1x because of internal error

Issue

  • When pairing OCUM to WFA the pairing fails after retrieving the certificate with the error :

Failed to save settings for Workflow Automation.

Due to an internal error, cannot determine the unique ID Active IQ Unified Manager version 9.7 frm Workflow automation host <IP adress> . Contact techinal support for assistance.

  • In the OCUM-error.log we can see the following error : 

2020-04-03 10:37:09,414 ERROR [adm_PMensing] [default task-22] [service.outbound.wfa.WfaIntegrationService|saveWfaConfiguration] [c.n.d.w.s.o.w.WfaIntegrationServiceImpl] Internal error occured while fetching UUID for UM
