  • Upgrading from OnCommand Workflow Automation 5.0 to 5.1 fails and reverts.
  • Checking the MSI install log shows the following:

Custom Install Log INFORMATION: 
launched cmd.exe with /c C:\Windows\system32\icacls.exe "E:\NetApp\WFA\jboss\bin\wfa.conf" /grant:r "ms\wfauser:F"  parameters
Custom Install Log ERROR: 
could not configure random wfa user password in database..
InstallShield 17:13:57: Setup aborted
InstallShield 17:13:57: CallScriptFunctionFromMsiCA() ends, result 0x642
