OnCommand Workflow Automation 5.1, upgraded directly from 4.2

Issue

Attempting to run any workflow on OnCommand Workflow Automation 5.1 after upgrading from 4.2 throws an error such as the following:

13:34:56.299 ERROR [Create volume] Command failed for Workflow 'Create a CIFS/SMB Share' with error : Could not get credentials for hostcl1.

Cause: The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine. The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine
