Cannot see tab for previous versions of some shares in a volume on 7-mode

  • Data ONTAP 8 operating in  7-Mode
  • Data ONTAP 7 and earlier
  • Shadow Copy client

Issue

  • The previous version tab for some shares in a volume can be seen, but cannot see the tab for other shares in the same volume.
  • The Shadow Copy client is also installed.
  • The following options are correctly set:
    • options cifs.show_snapshot on
    • options cifs.ms_snapshot_mode xp
    • vol options nosnapdir off
