Issue

  • NetApp Active IQ repeatedly reports the following alert, sometimes correlating with cluster instability or outages:

Network interface Bond10G:S has a duplicate IP address <ip_address> detected on the network. MAC Addresses with the same IP: <mac_address>

  • Management virtual IP (MVIP) becomes intermittently unreachable.
  • Frequent cluster leadership changes were observed.
