NMA stopped updating after upgrading cluster from Element 11.3 to 11.7

Applies to

  • NetApp HCI storage nodes upgraded to Element 11.7 from version 11.3P1
  • Management node (mNode) on Element 11.1/11.3P1/11.7
  • NetApp Element Plug-In for VMware vCenter Server version 4.3.233

Issue

  • NetApp monitoring agent (NMA) stopped sending VMware alerts to NetApp SolidFire Active IQ (Active IQ) when the upgrade to 11.7 completed
  • In the nma.conf the details of the vCenter went missing
  • The logs of the NMA docker (mnode_hci-monitor) container show  the following errors. A full list can be viewed in the Additional information section.
    • VMware object has no attribute

    • NMADispatcher object has no attribute
