NetApp Management Node (mnode)

Description

This article guides you through manually rebuilding the Docker swarm network when an IP address space conflicts with NetApp HCI.

In some circumstances, after a successful NetApp HCI deployment, you might not be able to update the management services. After you click the Update Services button in NetApp Hybrid Cloud Control, the update dialog hangs indefinitely. When this happens, the management services API Web interface is also unavailable (https://<mnodeIP>/mnode).

This is caused when the Docker swarm overlay network address space (10.255.0.0/16) overlaps with your network. In this scenario, you need to recreate the overlay network in a different address space.
