HCI compute node unresponsive and VMs offline after moving to a new cluster and VDS

Issue

  • NetApp HCI Compute node reports  Not responding state in vCenter and  the VMs in it are offline after moving the node to new cluster and a new VDS configured manually within the same vCenter datacenter.
  • The  node is  online , able to ping its IP address  and access its console.
  • In vCenter (Host > Configure > Storage Adapters), the network port binding for the iSCSI software adapter on the host listed as  “Not Compliant”
