HCC fails to display storage nodes or compute nodes under the upgrade section

Issue

  • When the customer opens the Hybrid Cloud Control (HCC) and clicks the Upgrade button, the information on the storage and compute nodes is not displayed. The following error message appears:
 
A polling attempt failed to refresh some of your data. Some information in the table may be out of date. Try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, contact your technical support engineer.
 
  • Additionally, the logs of the inventory-service container on the mnode shows the following error message:
 
app.inventory_service.api_clients.service_api_client.ServiceApiClient.get_and_raise_for_status in 0.0 seconds as it raised ConnectionError: HTTPConnectionPool(host='package-svc', port=80): Max retries exceeded with url: /package-repository/1/packages?name=compute-firmware (Caused by NameResolutionError("<urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0x7fced92b92e0>: Failed to resolve 'package-svc' ([Errno -3] Try again)"))
