Issue

  • LRSE service crash during restore of SnapMirror snapshot from Altavault to ONTAP with the following crash message
Dec 12 09:54:00 ava1 lrse[22874]: [assert.CRIT] (23053) ASSERTION FAILED (0) at cataloger_volume.cc:1358
  • Prior to the LRSE crash, the cataloger process is trying to get information of a specific snapshot for deletion
Dec 12 09:54:00 ava1 lrse[22874]: [cataloger_volume.INFO] (23053) Deleting snapshot: smb_weekly.2021-11-28_0100Dec 12 09:54:00 ava1 lrse[22874]: [cataloger_volume.INFO] (23053) Moving entry to deleted_snapshot_info_table.  for snapshot : smb_weekly.2021-11-28_0100 volume name: svsmb_cifs_data
