Issue

  • Data Collector is in Error status in Workload Security > Collectors > Data Collectors with the following message after temporary network failure:

Connector is in error state. Service name: audit. Reason for failure: External fpolicy server terminated.

Workload Security Data Collector does not recover automatically

  • DII sends alerts:

Description: SVM Data Collector '<DATA_COLLECTOR_NAME>' is disconnected. The SVM is not monitored and protected.
Error: Connector is in error state. Service name: audit. Reason for failure: External fpolicy server terminated.
Data Collector name: <DATA_COLLECTOR_NAME>

  • dsc.log reports error:
