Why doesn't DII show Hyper-V  performance metrics deployed with non-english language?

Answer

  • The issue is with Microsoft system locale as the Hyper-V is set in non-English language,DII couldn't translate some of the counters
  • Also Microsoft has different counters for system locale for Win 2016 vs 2019 vs 2022
  • Due to not having a standardization on OS versions as well as system locale from Microsoft , DII unable to determine the expected parameters
  • For example, Hyper-V set in Spanish, DII generates messages like: "El objeto especificado no se encontró en el equipo." in the recordings
