Unable to poll HCI Devices in DII - Connection timed out

Issue

  • When attempting to discover/poll the HCI device in the DII, the following errors appear in the data collector logs:

HCI (SolidFire) Example Log:

ERROR [com.onaro.sanscreen.acquisition.util.stream.http.HttpClient] Connect to 10.x.x.x:443 failed: Connection timed out: getsockoptERROR [com.onaro.sanscreen.acquisition.framework.datasource.BaseDataSource] <datacollector_name>[Error connecting] - Connect to 10.x.x.x:443 failed: Connection timed out: getsockopt

  • Use Test-NetConnection <device> -Port <port> or telnet from the DII Acquisition Unit to the device’s management IP and port to verify connectivity.
