Issue

  • Unable to Delete Obsolete Annotation Values Due to Stale References in NetApp Cloud Insights DII
  • When attempting to delete obsolete annotation values (e.g., “SANT1” and “SANT2”) from a List-Type annotation (e.g., “Tier”) in the DII, the following message is displayed:

“The annotation values are being used in some queries or dashboards”

  • The annotation values cannot be removed from the annotation definition. Annotation values remain after attempted deletion
