Issue

  • ONTAP SVM Data Collectors run into Error or Initializing status intermittently

ONTAP SVM Data Collectors are disconnected intermittently in Workload Security

  • Critical Health Alert is sent with following information:

Description: SVM Data Collector '<DATA_COLLECTOR>' is disconnected. The SVM is not monitored and protected. 
Error: Connector is in error state. Service name: inventoryVolume. Reason for failure: Failed to refresh inventory for volume type of items. reason: Connection error to Storage System <STORAGE_SYSTEM_IP>: Connection reset

  • agent.log indicates proxy server returns error

[ERROR] [prod] [<AGENT_UUID>] [<DC_UUID>] [agent-CommunicationManager] - failed to update Health of agent and collectors in CloudSecure service. Reason - Http request POST:/rest/v1/agents/<DC_UUID>/health failed with error <PROXY_SERVER>
