Applies to

  • Data Infrastructure Insights (DII / Cloud Insights)
  • ONTAP FlexGroup volumes

Issue

  • In Data Infrastructure Insights (DII), FlexGroup volumes and their qtrees do not display node_name, aggregate_name, or qtree_uuid attributes in the UI or API.
  • FlexVol volumes and qtrees on the same cluster display these attributes correctly.
  • The DII API returns empty or null values for these fields on FlexGroup objects, and qtree_uuid may return "null:0" for data-protection FlexGroups.
  • Downstream automation workflows that depend on these attributes (e.g., annotation rules keyed on node or aggregate) fail for FlexGroup objects.
