NetApp Data Classification upgrade fails due to insufficient /var/tmp disk space

Issue

  • Automatic upgrade for Data Classification fails and the UI is displaying 'Upgrade Required'.
  • The configuration page in Data Classification dashboard is showing System update required. Configuration is not supported with the version of Data Classification you're running. Upgrade to the latest version to access configuration.
  • The upgrade_service_wrapper.sh script reports insufficient disk space in the /var/tmp directory, which is required for Podman image extraction during the upgrade process. The following error message is seen :

Checking for the upgrade The upgrade process is in the 'FAILED' state since  (epoch time) Checking free disk space Podman temp dir /var/tmp is on different partition, checking separately Directory /var/tmp has 20724620 which is lower that the required 30000000 (in 1K blocks), won't upgrade
