NFS Qtree mount fails with "No such file or directory" when scanning in NetApp Classification

Issue

  • NFS qtree shares hosted on a on-premises ONTAP cluster could not be scanned on NetApp Data Classification as it fails with error :

Error while executing cmd '['nsenter','-t','8743','-m','-p','-n','timeout','21','/sbin/mount.nfs','-o','rw,soft,timeo=300,retrans=1,proto=tcp,nolock,vers=3','40.221.4.11:/in0_ia-poc_v01','/tmp/mounts/pid_1713/40.221.4.11/in0_ia-poc_v01']' 

mount.nfs: mounting 40.221.4.11:/in0_ia-poc_v01 failed, reason given by server: No such file or directory
  • The NFS export exists and the classification's server IP is already added to the NFS export policy.
