Classification deployment on cloud fails with error : Deployment timed out

Issue

  • Classification deployment on AWS using NetApp Console gets stuck on Step 3 and fails with error : Deployment timed out (DEPLOYING_CC)

  • From server.log of connector we see the below :

  • Classification VM on AWS gets terminated when Step 3 fails.

Cause

Outbound connections from Classification VM to pull docker images is being intercepted by proxy

Solution

  1. Prepare an EC2 instance in AWS for manual deployment of classification.
  2. Provide the proxy details when the installation script prompts for it.
  3. Complete the installation.
