Issue

Scan operation on the NetApp Console DataSense system is failing on vserver with below error

"Error connecting to socket. Aborting operation", there's no basic connectivity to the smb server

Cause

No connectivity to the smb server from classification machine

Solution

Resolving the Network connectivity between Datasense and the Ontap Cluster(SMB Server) restored the services
