  • Mediator

Answer

  • AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) is ending support for t2.micro and t3.micro replication instances on August 3, 2026.
  • After this date, existing instances will be automatically upgraded to dms.t3.small with no opt-out.
  • This specifically affects DMS, not necessarily standard EC2 t3.micro usage, which remains a current burstable instance type.
  • The CVO Mediator should not be considered part of DMS, so this should not affect CVO Mediators.
