Issue

Relevant Log Output:

2026-01-16 22:23:05,526 UTC WARN [HttpClientConnection:78] GET request to /OntapRestProtocol/describeSvmVolumes?svm=svm_cvo timed out after 3 minutes, closing connection

2026-01-16 22:23:08,496 UTC WARN [HttpHostConnectionSlot:78] GET request to /OntapRestProtocol/describeSvmVolumes?svm=svm_cvo timed out in response to GET request ... with no retries left, dispatching error...

Error: Timeout reached when connecting to remote API

  • “Upgrade CVO” button does not load in NetApp Console UI
  • Manual upgrade attempts fail at “DescribeSVM” or “DownloadClusterImage” steps
  • Volume API calls time out or return HTTP 400/504 errors
