Issue

  • Multiple users experience slowness in opening PPT and excel files
    • Latency seen: Average of 2 minutes to open a file
    • Latency expected: Average of 10 seconds to open a file  
  • The issue is continuously present 
  • The behavior is same when accessed via DFS path or UNC or by directly using the IP to connect to the share
  • No latency observed at storage end in Performance Archives
  • The Service Response Time (SRT) is also normal from packet trace analysis from storage end:
