Issue
- A Cloud Volumes ONTAP node in Azure experienced a system panic with the following symptoms:
- AutoSupport alert:
RPANIC:5:Associated error message could not be found in AutoSupport - Log output:

- No core dump file was generated (
system node coredump statusshowed “nocore”). - The cluster recovered automatically without human intervention.
- Azure health event indicated:
