Can you migrate the Azure VPN Gateway Pulic IP from Basic to Standard SKU with CVO

Answer

As Azure is retiring Basic SKU public IP addresses, you must migrate to a Standard SKU public IP for continued compliance. As it is an Azure side change, it is supported when using NetApp Cloud products, but you must ensure:
  • During migration, expect a brief loss of connectivity (typically 5–10 minutes) from external sources to the Azure site.
  • The public IP address is expected to remain the same. However, in rare cases, if the public IP changes, you must update your external network tunnels to use the new public IP to restore connectivity.
