Issue

Two connectors that are used to admin work environments are running different service manager versions.

Cause

Customer states that they are seeing discrepancy in  systemctl status -l | grep netapp  output from the CLI between the two connector instances that are being used to administer their work environments in the BlueXP GUI.

The first system is running the service manager from /opt/application/netapp/cloudmanager/sbt/bin/service_manager.jar

The second system is running the service manager from  /opt/application/netapp/service-manager-2/sm2 ELF 64-bit LSB executable.

The request was can running service manager version of either of the existing connectors be modified to be running from the same losaction and hance be at the same version?

Solution

You can not change the connector service manager version except deploying a new BlueXP connector.
