  • Yes, there is no impact to the CVO when the serial port console in GCP is disabled
    • The serial port console is enabled by default on CVO and agent VM instances during deployment in GCP.
    • It mainly used for troubleshooting boot issues on the VM and can be re-enabled if required for troubleshooting
