CVO HA on GCP degraded takeover is not possible: mailbox disks not healthy

Issue

  • BlueXP canvas shows the CVO HA pair on GCP cluster status as degraded.
  • storage failover show -field reason command returns the output below:

::> storage failover show -fields reason
node reason
-------------------- -------------------------------
node-01 "Mailbox disks are not healthy"
node-02 "Mailbox disks are not healthy"

  • Both CVO nodes are unable to see the GCP Mediator VM mailbox disks:

::> storage failover show -fields local-mailbox-disks,partner-mailbox-disks
node local-mailbox-disks partner-mailbox-disks
