Issue

  • Attempts to add a disk to a Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) aggregate in Microsoft Azure via the BlueXP (NetApp Console) interface fail with a time format error. The error appears in the UI and logs as follows:

Incorrect time format of 2022-01-24T08:05:18Z, doesn't fit the required pattern: yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSSSSSSSS'Z'

Log Output Example:
Error: Incorrect time format of 2022-01-24T08:05:18Z, doesn't fit the required pattern: yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSSSSSSSS'Z'...Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid format: "2022-01-24T08:05:18Z" is malformed at "Z"

  • The issue is observed when using the Add Disk workflow in NetApp Console for CVO aggregates in Azure.
  • The failure also occurs when attempting to create a new aggregate.
  • The error is consistent and reproducible for affected clusters/environments.
