Answer

Yes. NetApp has not tested the operation with Azure VM extensions installed, so there is an unconfirmed risk regarding what might happen in that state.

Note: If the extensions have been installed, please remove them by following the instructions in Removing extensions from VMs created from NetApp CVO images
