CVO Azure object store unavailable error due to failed private endpoint creation

Issue

  • The following event occurs repeatedly at intervals of several tens of minutes:

object.store.unavailable: Unable to connect to the object store "StorageAccount" from node xxxxxxx. Reason: Connection unavailable.

Cause

  • Private endpoints are not created successfully during the initial CVO deployment
  • Manually created private endpoints have no correct connectivity between CVO and the storage account

Solution

Redeploy Cloud Volumes ONTAP to ensure private endpoints are created successfully
