Unable to create Backup and Recovery policy on remote MCC site

Issue

  • Creation of a backup policy using NetApp Backup & Recovery fails with the following error:

"message": "Failed to create backup policy. Invalid version. Must be a string. Got type \\"undefined\\"."
}
  • This error occurs when creating policies with Snaplock/DataLock (e.g. Compliance mode) on on-premises ONTAP MCC Site B clusters, while Site A clusters are unaffected.
