Restore files and folders from ONTAP S3 fails with error Storage keys are missing or invalid

Issue

  • After deploying a new on-premises  Agent , attempts to  Restore Files or Folders from ONTAP S3 backups  using Browse & Restore operation  in NetApp Console fail with the following error:

Failed to start file explore. Storage keys are missing or invalid. Go to Advanced Settings to add or update keys for ontapS3

  • The  NetApp Console UI does not have an option to update ONTAP S3 access keys
