Answer

  • The AWS usage fee increase is caused by an increase in the provisioned capacity of CVO.
  • Creating a new volume or resizing an existing one that increases capacity by 1 TiB will add approximately $2.40/day in cost as below example.

Example for CVO Essentials, Single Node package

Pricing reference: AWS Marketplace

  • Billing rate: $0.10 per TiB per hour
  • For provisioned capacity: 5 TiB

Cost calculation: 5 TiB × 24 hours × $0.10 = $12.00/day

  • Additional 1 TiB cost increase:

1 TiB × 24 hours × $0.10 = $2.40/day
