Is it possible to set the scope for NetApp Console agent custom IAM role in Azure at the RG level?

Answer

  • It is not possible to set the "Assignable Scope" for NetApp Console agent custom IAM role at the resource group level. 
    • Additionally the IAM role assignment must be done at the Subscription level and not at the vm level in the Azure potal.
  • This is a strict requirement for NetApp Console as its code expects the scope to be granted at the subscription level.
