Why does BlueXP Connector send packet from Public IP to access to storage account in Azure?

Answer

It is Azure's behavior. Azure control routing traffic to use Public IP or Private IP.  Operation system or connector is not aware of Public IP itself.

Additional Information

  • Currently, Public IP is created with Basic SKU in Add BlueXP Connector Wizard
  • According to this document,  Standard SKU is capable to control routing traffic. Please contact Azure Support for more detail.
