Answer

  • No, it is not recommended to install a CA-signed certificate for web-based console access when using NetApp Console on Standard mode.
  • This is not a requirement and should be only configured for organizations deployed in Restricted or Private mode as on Standard mode, the NetApp Console should only be accessed via the SaaS URL  and not via the Local UI exposed by the NetApp Console Agent VM.
