Answer

  • No, SnapMirror destination volume is newly created by creating SnapMirror relationship via BlueXP. Existing volume cannot be specified.
  • Operation fails if a volume having the same name as BlueXP is trying to create already exists.

An error occurred while replicating: A volume with the name <VOLUME> already exists. Choose a different volume name.

Note: Use System Manager or CLI if existing DP volume needs to be used as SnapMirror destination
