Issue

Severe performance delays observed during Data Volume creation, deletion, and bulk volume operations in OpenStack environments using  RedHat OpenStack (RHOSO-18).

Log Output/Symptom Example:

  • Bulk volume creation operations take significantly longer than expected.
  • Deletion operations are delayed.
  • No explicit ONTAP error codes; delays are observable in OpenStack/Cinder logs.
