  • ONTAP uses Tebibytes(TiBs) as a unit of measure for storage
  • AWS uses Terabytes(TB's) as a unit of measure for storage
  • 1 Tebibyte is equal to 1.099511627776 Terabytes
  • The storage size on AWS Cloud Watch will always be higher than ONTAP
  • The difference in size can be verified by using an online Tebibyte to Terabyte converter
