Why is Account Security Type option greyed out for new CVO instances?

Answer

  • A new CVO instance is deployed from a working environment.
  • Selecting a Provider in the wizard provides CVO configuration options.
  • Assume Role is unselectable as shown:

Why is Account Security Type option greyed out for new CVO instances?

  • Floating over the unselectable option will provide additonal detail on why the option is un-selectable 
    • Example: Cloud manager must be linked to an instanced profile
  • Linking the account to a active profile and resarting the Cloud-manager VM will correct the issue and allow the option to be selected.
