Slowness in accessing the CIFS shares when VPN is not used

Issue

  • Slowness in copying file to and from the share to the local desktop folder

  • Saving files after writing data into it is also slow 

  • In both the above scenarios when VPN is connected the slowness is not seen and when VPN is not used the slowness is seen
