Answer

No, the CVO is not affected by shutting down one BlueXP connector if at least one other connector is active.

Additional Information

When shutting down a connector, BlueXP sends the following alert email regardless of whether there is another active connector or not.

Subject:
Connector is down and must be restarted

Body:
Service: Notification service
Your Connector xxxxxx isn't running. This affects BlueXP services, including the availability of Cloud Volumes ONTAP
This Connector manages 1 Cloud Volumes ONTAP working environments. Those Cloud Volumes ONTAP working environments are at risk of shutting down after losing communication with the Connector for longer than 14 days. This applies to all Cloud Volumes ONTAP systems that use PAYGO licensing and systems that use capacity-based BYOL licensing. The Connector should remain running so that it can refresh the licenses on your Cloud Volumes ONTAP systems each day.
