- The time varies on the backend provider and if single node or HA mode is used.
- If there are no technical issues, the activity will take around 30 minutes or up to 1 hour.

- For HA mode, takeover will be nearly instantaneous.
- It will take a few minutes to halt ONTAP and stop the instance, however the time it takes to deallocate the instance depends on the backend provider.
