Answer

No, Destination volume should be of same size as the source size due to the below reasons,

  • Inline de-duplication will not work on volumes with SIDL enabled
  • Aggregate level de-duplication is not supported on the CVO system.
  • Also the deduplication savings will be seen through the background deduplication.
